POUYAN SALIMIAN

Acupuncturist - Massage Therapist - Acu Facialist

Pouyan has more than 10 years expertise in the holistic field, and believes in the powerful combination of disciplines such as Acupuncture and Massage therapy. Gaining an MA in Oriental Studies (Japanese) at the University of Venice back in 2004 triggered a deep fascination with the body-mind relationship, which then propelled him to embark in a healing journey. This began with a Yoga teacher training, followed by a four-months stay in northern Thailand where he studied the Thai healing arts as well as the western  approach to bodywork.

Today Pouyan is a fully qualified Acupuncturist and a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) as well as a member of the Acupuncture Fertility network. He studied acupuncture at ICOM (International College of Oriental Medicine) - the oldest Acupuncture college in the UK - where he completed a BSc(Hons) in Integrated Western Medicine and Classical Chinese Acupuncture. He continues to attend workshops for ongoing professional development, including postgraduate courses in acupuncture for infertility/IVF support and musculoskeletal issues as well as Japanese acupuncture. Furthermore, he also loves to look after his client's beauty regime using cosmetic acupuncture (+ LED lights) to enable facial rejuvenation.

When it comes to massage therapy his style is a hybrid of Eastern and Western techniques that include Tuina (Chinese medical massage), Thai Massage, Deep Tissue and Swedish massage. He also finds it beneficial to include massage/cupping/moxibustion in his acupuncture treatments whenever appropriate.

LYNN BENNETT

Massage Therapist

Lynn Bennett trained in Therapeutic Massage at the College of Holistic
Medicine where Western anatomy & physiology are integrated with
Traditional Chinese Medicine. Also trained in Holistic counselling &
psychotherapy Lynn works with relaxation & stress care skills and
promotes the integration of the psychological and physiological through
bodywork.

Lynn’s work with massage therapy is a holistic practice that aims to treat
the whole person, addressing emotional and physical needs. It improves
the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid, loosening knotted tissue, relaxing
muscles and thereby releasing trapped energy revitalising the whole
body. This process can be deeply beneficial for stress & anxiety - often
the cause of health deterioration. The therapy promotes relaxation and a
sense of well being, which strengthens the immune system thereby
restoring a healthy balanced state of being. Lynn also encourages her
patient’s own mind and body awareness to support self healing.

Lynn has been in private practice since 1994 and has worked at the
Centred Health clinic since 2012.

Having worked in high-pressure environments of trading floors and financial services, and working on his life lessons, he now is keen to share his experiences and knowledge to help others with their own awareness and general health, wherever they are on their journey.

Working with the real values of life, Stephen teaches restorative yoga which helps you move closer to your true nature and activate self-healing. He also offers numerology, which allows people to easily better understand themselves and the loved ones around them. He is an active healer and is studying shamanic practises.
