Kana Okada

Kana is a fully qualified acupuncturist and a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC)and herbalist and a member of Registere of Chinese Medicine (RCHM). She studied Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the University of Westminster where she gained a BSc (Hons) and MSc degree.

Kana grew up in Japan and from a young age, Traditional Japanese Medicine was always a part of her life and the concept of natural medicine, food and healing were encouraged in her family. Kana moved to the U.K. in 1992, and she has been practicing complementary therapies since 2005. Her special areas of interest are fertility and mental health.

Kana's approach to treatment is holistic - seeing the person as an individual and treating them as a whole. Kana often combines acupuncture with bodywork as well as Chinese food therapy and lifestyle advice to achieve the best outcome. She also encourages patients to actively participate in their treatment and helps them to increase body awareness and support their healing process. Kana also holds an ITEC diploma in Massage, Reflexology, and a Diploma in Shiatsu.
